9 years and counting
It was my 9th wedding anniversary on Wednesday and to celebrate we're going to Niagara Falls for the weekend. There's nothing more romatic then going to a wax museum and eating overpriced fudge.

Oh my goodness, I can't believe I forgot! Happy Anniversary! I hope you have a great time in Niagra. The secret is definitely to embrace the cheese. I expect to see a photo of the two of you in a "barrel" going over the falls when you get back!

Plus, you should definitely shell out for the room with the heart-shaped hot tub :).

No worries about forgetting. As you know, I'm really bad with remembering dates, too.

We do apparently have a "whirlpool" in our room, but I don't think it's heart-shaped. Have you ever seen photos of the champagne glass hot tubs? They look way cool, too. These hot tubs are scary at the same time, just think of how icky they could be. Ewwww!

I had a room in Niagara Falls once with one of those gigantic tubs. It was actually a tonne of fun! I've never been so clean. I think I was taking 2 baths a day just for kicks.

One tip that we did and were happy we did: we brought along some tea lights to set around the tub. Very nice.

I forgot, too, although I'm sure that doesn't come as any surprise to you ...

Make sure you don't go all out this anniversary, because then you'll be setting the bar impossibly high when you need to plan for your 10th next year.

Trust me, I don't think we are going to set the bar too high by taking a tour on the Maid of the Mist this year.
